Description

This carefully selected blend contains beautiful Camassia varieties in shades of blue, light blue, lilac-blue, white and creamy yellow. Together they create a soft and natural effect in borders, prairie gardens and wild planting schemes. The mix includes Camassia Cusickii, Camassia leichtlinii caerulea, Camassia Alba, Camassia Silk River and Camassia Zwanenburg. The elegant star-shaped flowers bloom gradually from the bottom upwards, creating a long-lasting display in late spring and early summer. Camassia bulbs are perfect for naturalising and combine beautifully with ornamental grasses, alliums, geraniums and late flowering tulips. They are ideal for cottage gardens, natural borders and planting around ponds or beneath trees and shrubs. The Camassia Mix flowers in May and June and reaches a height of approximately 60-90 cm. Plant the flower bulbs in autumn in a sunny or partially shaded position. Camassia prefers fertile, slightly moist soil and is fully hardy.
