Description
Tulip 'Crunchy Cummins' is a breathtaking variety that brings unparalleled dynamism and contrast to the spring garden. This unique fringed tulip instantly stands out due to its fascinating color palette: the base of the bloom is swathed in a deep, regal lavender to violet-blue hue. This cool purple creates a spectacular contrast with the crisp white, densely fringed edges of the petals. The texture of the fringe is so refined and crystal-like that it resembles a delicate layer of frost or sugar, giving the flower a wonderfully crisp ("crunchy") and fresh appearance.
Supported by strong, upright stems, 'Crunchy Cummins' blooms in mid-to-late spring with immense elegance. It is highly resilient against unpredictable spring weather, ensuring that its artistic blossoms retain their beauty for a long time. This tulip makes a striking statement in borders, where it pairs beautifully with white or soft pink spring flowers. It is also perfectly suited for pots and containers on the patio or balcony, where its detailed texture can be admired up close. Furthermore, it is a long-lasting, premium cut flower that elevates any spring bouquet into a modern masterpiece.
