Description
The Gladiolus The Bride nanus is an elegant and compact gladiolus, ideal for refined arrangements. The scientific name is Gladiolus nanus 'The Bride'. This type belongs to the group of Nanum Gladioli or Dwarf Gladioli, a smaller variety of the sword lily.
The flower color is pure white, sometimes with a subtle, light yellow or green tinge in the deepest heart. This gives the flower a fresh and bridal appearance. The nanus gladiolus is excellently suited as a perfect cut flower for delicate bouquets. Thanks to its compact size, it is also ideal for flower beds, pots, and the cottage garden. The sturdy thin stems are shorter than those of the large flowered varieties, which ensures stability. Plant the corms in spring for an early and abundant bloom.
