Allium roseum or Rosy garlic is so called due to its pretty rose pink flowers. On strong stems appear umbels with loose, fragrant flowers, pink to lilac in colour. It's a hardy plant and will grow well in most types of soil as long as it has good drainage. These small flowering Alliums are suitable for naturalizing, but also valuable in the rock garden. |
