Description
Allium Forelock is a large-flowered Allium. A unique and pleasantly fragrant Allium, the flowers stand on sturdy stems and colour from intense green to wine-red. As flowering progresses, a tuft of flowers protrudes several centimetres with the effect of a crest. The protruding white stamens become increasingly prominent during flowering, creating a white haze over the flower. The initially sinuous flower stem is variable in height up to 140 cm. Perfectly hardy and naturalizes easily
